About Our Aggregate

bulletThe stone quarried at Outlack is a hard grey sedimentary rock named Grey Wacke (Pronounced Wacky) It is an argillaceous sandstone which has a significant fine grained element. The chemical breakdown of the stone can be viewed on our External Testing Page.

 

bulletOur Aggregates are suitable for many uses especially concrete; bituminous mixtures and surface treatments for roads, airfields and other trafficked areas; and unbound and hydraulically bound materials for use in civil engineering work and road constructions.
